June 7, 2009 the Nebraska Draft Horse and Mule Association Summer Picnic will be held in Indianola. A potluck meal will begin at noon at the City Park, followed by the summer meeting. After the meeting people haulers will be available to take people from the park to the work area on the east edge of town. Several activities are planned
featuring “horse powers”. 2, 4 and 8 head powers will be on display and plan to run a corn sheller and hay baler. Will have some hay to mow,
