Its nice to see my Uncle Al at the top of the photo list. The porch behind him and the door leading in is as indelibly etched in my mind as my name is.
For some 60 years, on visits to Indianola, I would always make sure to sit on the swing on the porch. The memories of the Deffers and the Kjollers sitting on the porch in the evening hours I can never forget.
