Down Town Fire
In March of 2004 a fire broke out in the grocery store and burned down not only it but the city office and shop (the old dance hall/roller skating rink) and the building that was Gus Guthries/Franks Seed store. 3 buildings in all. A new city office was rebuilt two years later but not anything else.
