Tearing Down The Quigley House

What has been known as the Quigley house was torn down last week. The first Warrenty Deed to a person that I can find on the lot the house set on in the old court house records is on Dec. 29, 1879. It’s from the Republican Valley Land Ass. to Albert E. Touzalin. He was a R.R. person speculating in lots, buying 10 in this block, to sell later and I don’t believe he built the house but I’m not sure. Touzalin deeds the 10 lots to the Lincoln Land Co. in May of 1880. In June of 1883 the Lincoln Land Co. deeds the lot to Jasper S. Phillips but Jasper’s wife deeds it to Lottie Quick in Dec. 1884. It appears the house was built by either Phillips or Quick. Below are pictures of the house from beging to end. Bill
